Produção de Videoaulas de Programação em Java Acessíveis no Contexto de um Projeto de Capacitação Profissional para Pessoas Surdas

Resumo

Despite the growing number job vacancies in the information technology industry and the recent laws created to pave the way to workplace, unemployment rates among people with disabilities are still high in Brazil. This might be related to the small offering of technical training suited to this population. The paper presents the results of efforts to offer accessible distance learning java programming courses for the deaf with emphasis on the production of instructional videos. This descriptive-exploratory work presents the processes used in the course development and the experience testimonial is intended to share with the community the developments in the production and administration of courses with similar nature.
